AI writes fast. Pipelines make it right.

It starts knowing what you know.

Before any model writes code, the task picks up your stored product and feature context.Your product and feature context loads first.

It picks up the skills you want.

Try PipeRun on your Mac

Install PipeRun with one command in Terminal, the Mac app for typing commands.

curl -fsSL https://piperun.sh/install.sh | bash

For Macs with Apple silicon (M1 or newer) running macOS 13 Ventura or later.

On your phone? Send yourself this page and open it on your Mac.

Install in four steps

  1. Copy the command

    Click Copy above.

  2. Open Terminal

Press Command + Space, type Terminal and press Return. A window with a blinking cursor opens.

  3. Paste and press Return

Click in the Terminal window, press Command + V, then Return. PipeRun downloads, installs itself in your Applications folder and opens. It takes about a minute and never asks for your password.

  4. Follow the setup screen

PipeRun checks what it needs and installs it for you, one click each. It then opens a sign-in window for GitHub and for Claude or ChatGPT; follow the prompts there and come back. That is all.

Questions

Do I use Terminal every time?

No, only to install. After that, open PipeRun like any other app: from Launchpad, with Spotlight (Command + Space, type PipeRun), or keep it in your Dock.

Which Mac do I have?

Open the Apple menu in the top-left corner and choose About This Mac. If the Chip line says Apple M1, M2, M3, M4 or newer, PipeRun works on it. Macs with an Intel processor are not supported yet; the command tells you if yours is one.

What does the command do?

It downloads the latest PipeRun from our GitHub page, checks the download is complete and unchanged, puts PipeRun in your Applications folder and opens it. It does not need your password and changes nothing else on your Mac.

What accounts do I need?

A GitHub account, and a paid plan for at least one AI coding agent: Claude (Pro or Max) for Claude Code, or ChatGPT (Plus or Pro) for Codex. PipeRun uses your own accounts; it never sees your passwords.

Where does my work happen?

On your Mac. PipeRun runs the agents locally, in a fresh copy of your repository for every run, and talks to GitHub with your own sign-in.

How do I update?

Run the same command again. It closes PipeRun if it is open, replaces it with the newest version and opens it again. Your projects and pipelines are kept.

The command printed an error

Read the last lines: they say what went wrong and whether anything changed (usually nothing). Check your internet connection and run it again. If it keeps failing, copy the whole Terminal window into your reply to us.

How do I remove it?

Drag PipeRun from Applications to the Trash. To remove its data too, delete the folder ~/Library/Application Support/Piperun.

This is an early test build, so some things will break. When they do, reply to the message that sent you the passcode and tell us what happened.

What PipeRun does

Connect a GitHub repository, build a pipeline of stations, give it a task. PipeRun loads your context, runs each station with the model you picked, routes review feedback back to the build step until it passes or hits the retry limit, and opens the pull request.

The default pipe ends with a reviewed PR. Human approval and merge are optional stations you add.
